As a Business Development Manager at Spero, you will focus exclusively on developing new business opportunities with Federal Prime Contractors. Your role will involve selling both IT staffing and solutions to help federal clients meet their mission-critical needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and engage Federal Prime Contractors through targeted outreach, networking, cold calling, and email campaigns to introduce Spero’s IT staffing and solutions offerings.
- Client Engagement: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders in Federal Prime Contractor organizations, focusing on tailored solutions to meet their needs. 20-25% travel required.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression through the sales cycle for both IT staffing and solutions.
- Collaboration with Recruitment Teams: Work closely with our recruitment team to deliver staffing solutions that align with the specific requirements of federal projects.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets by focusing on securing new business opportunities with Federal Prime Contractors and expanding Spero’s presence in the federal space.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Military Experience (Preferred): We actively encourage former military personnel to apply, leveraging your leadership, discipline, and ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
- Sales Experience: 3 years of experience in Staffing/Recruiting sales is preferred, though not required, particularly if you have military or federal experience.
- Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn and grow in the federal sales space, with a commitment to applying training to achieve success.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence federal decision-makers.
- Prospecting & Relationship Building: Experience in lead generation and relationship management, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
- IT Industry Knowledge (Preferred): An understanding of IT staffing needs and emerging technology trends within the federal space is a plus, though not required.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
