What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Provider-NP, DO, MD position at Spero?
Spero is seeking to hire a Psychiatric Provider to care for adult patients. The psychiatric provider will work in the outpatient clinic setting alongside a team of nurses, mental health professionals, mental health practitioners, and substance use providers to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to patients and their families.
The position is for 25-40 hours per week to treat adults. Hybrid options will be considered, as well as contract-for-hire or employment-based service. Spero offers paid paper time. This position does not involve night, weekend or on-call hours.
The Adult Psychiatric Provider will:
- Receive and review referrals.
- Apply evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients appropriately.
- Maintain complete records of patient care, we pay for paper time.
- Be an active part of the treatment team at Spero’s community behavioral health clinic.
Educational and Experiential Requirements:
- Licensed in the State of Minnesota to prescribe psychiatric medications as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatrist, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a prescriber for adults preferred.
Salary Range
If contracted - $110 - $130/hour
If salary - $80,000 – 176,000
