POSITION: Junior and Senior Level Integration Technician
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Clearance Level Required: TS/Full Scope Polygraph
SUMMARY:
The Integration Technician is responsible for racking and stacking equipment according to customer requirements and installing on-site equipment. This role also involves working in the FedHawk/FedData Technology Solutions LLC (FDTS) integration room, designing and documenting equipment rack layouts, and may require specific certifications.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the FEDHAWK/FDTS Senior Integration Technician in the equipment design, documentation, racking, and stacking.
- Assemble, test, and deliver the final product for shipping.
- Assist with the installation and system checkout by traveling to customer locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2 years of experience in system integration.
- Experience with racking and stacking data system equipment.
- Expertise in day-to-day data center operations, including rack/stack tasks, switch/port configurations, and server decommissioning.
- Experience running and terminating copper and fiber cables.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and connectivity issues.
- Experience with commissioning and decommissioning hardware.
- Familiarity with patch panels.
- Ability to replace components such as DIMMs, hard drives, and power supplies.
- Working knowledge of data center processes and design, including power, cooling, and redundancy.
- Experience resolving data center incidents, managing assets, and overseeing logistics.
- Hands-on expertise with mid-range systems in large-scale environments (100 servers), including IBM, HP, Oracle, and Dell server hardware.
- Ability to read and understand system design documentation (e.g., rack elevations).
- Ability to document problem resolution summaries and repetitive tasks via an online ticketing system.
- Effective team and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, particularly regarding outage risk assessment.
- Excellent cable management skills, with experience managing fiber and copper in a data center environment.
