Who We Want
Spevco is hiring a Paint and Body Shop team member. We'd love to find an experienced paint and body technician that has a passion for show-quality work. While we work on large-scale projects (typically tractor/trailer based vehicles), attention to detail is required and the ability to produce show-quality fit and finishes is a must.

What You’ll Really Be Doing
This is a full-time position that reports to our Body Shop Team Leader.
- Preparing and painting new and old steel trailer chassis
- Preparing, priming, and painting aluminum components
- Preparing and installing interior and exterior trailer body panels and trim work
- Custom road-tractor and trailer paintwork on occasion
- Repairing body panels and paint on existing road-tractors and trailers
- Some bed-lining experience is a plus
- Using your best judgment and asking questions when something might not make sense
- Always following safety guidelines
- Hopefully having fun in the process
What You Get Paid
This position is paid on an hourly basis, and our offer will be determined by your level of experience and expertise.

The Nitty Gritty Requirements
- Integrity, energy, and a positive attitude
- 5 years of paint and bodywork, including producing OEM equipment and repair work, strongly preferred
- Ability to complete and pass the OSHA-required respiratory exam and fit test
- Strong organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Team player who can also perform without supervision
- An understanding of how to estimate paint and bodywork is a plus
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Embraces change and can easily move forward as priorities shift
- Embraces safety and puts your own safety and the safety of others as the highest priority
- Willingness to work cleanly and participate in shop housekeeping and paint booth maintenance
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-75 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, controls, and computers.
