What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at SPF America?
SPF America, LLC is currently hiring an Account Manager for our Fort Smith, AR location. We offer a family oriented working environment and the ability to learn and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate for the Account Manager role will be someone with at least one year of prior account management experience in the manufacturing/industrial field. Prior experience with PLEX (ERP system) is a bonus.
Account Manager job duties:
1. Processing customer PO’s
2. Managing customer accounts
3. Monitoring daily customer shipments
4. Daily printing/releasing work orders packets for production
5. Close work orders in the system daily
6. Scan and upload closed work orders into the system daily
7. Creating vendor PO’s when needed
8. Managing office supply inventory (once a week)
9. Answering phones
Account Manager skillset requirements:
Previous account management experience
Computer skills (data entry, Microsoft, Excel, Word)
Prioritizing and multitasking
Organizational skills
Answering calls and/or emails timely and professionally
Works well in a busy office area
Attention to detail
Time-management
Problem-solving
Team player
