We’re a startup that’s rapidly growing—our second location, SPF Fieldhouse, is already open, and we’re on the lookout for proactive leaders to help us continue expanding. As we grow, we need an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who will support our GM/VP in both event and day-to-day operations, helping maintain the fun, dynamic culture of excellence that we’re building. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting GM/VP: Work closely with our General Manager and Vice President to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help execute major events. You’ll be a key player in maintaining and strengthening our high-energy culture of excellence.
- Manager on Duty (MOD) Shifts: Taking charge during your shifts, managing the team, ensuring the facility is running smoothly, and making sure every guest has an amazing experience.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support teams responsible for operations, events, memberships and hospitality. You’ll make sure everyone is working together and proactively engaging with our customers.
- Facility Care: Own the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. Your attention to detail will make a great impression on everyone who walks through our doors.
- Programming & Scheduling: Help develop and run fun and engaging pickleball programming, including lessons, leagues, open plays and tournaments. You’ll be responsible for coordinating schedules that keep our facility buzzing with activity (think cornhole, bocce, comedy shows, kids camps, you name it!)
- Staff Training & Development: Lead by example, supporting and training staff to ensure they have the tools to provide true hospitality.
- Tournament Support: Help organize and run pickleball tournaments and our other private events, ensuring everyone has a great time.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in management, hospitality, or sports-related roles (facility management experience is a plus!).
- A strong, hands-on leader who loves to motivate and guide teams with enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication skills—you’re approachable, clear, and great at building relationships with guests and your team.
- An organized, proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple tasks, changes & facilities projects without breaking a sweat.
- A genuine passion for pickleball is a bonus. A strong desire to build community in
- Weekend and evening availability is required.
- Must be available for designated, on-call shifts for emergencies as needed.
- Experience working in a fast-growing environment or startup is a bonus!
- Administrative skills include email management & communicating effectively with the team & management.
