Rental Inspections Technician
SPG Capital is a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and repositioning single family, multi-family, and mixed-use assets in South Central, PA and Northern, MD. We are a fast-growing company looking for motivated individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The Rental Inspections Technician will be responsible for supporting the Rental Inspections Manager by completing all required inspection items for SPG properties. Daily responsibilities include:
- Communicate with the Rental Inspections Manager to prioritize tasks and determine schedule
- Assist in meeting with Borough Inspectors at properties to understand required inspection lists
- Complete all assigned tasks on inspection lists
- Provide assistance to sub-contractors who are assigned specialty tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of residential property maintenance and renovations
- Experience in carpentry and finish work
- Ability to efficiently and effectively problem solve
- Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines
- Attention to details
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
