Description:
We are seeking an experienced Android Tech Lead to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Android development, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Key Skills:
Android Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Hands-on experience with mobile application development
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments
Strong exposure to Mobile Architecture best practices and deployment processes
Previous experience in an onsite/offshore lead role
Knowledge of iOS development using Swift/SwiftUI is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Android solutions
Mentor junior developers and ensure high-quality deliverables
Maintain architecture documentation and drive technical discussions
Collaborate across business domains and align solutions with business goals
Improve user experience and app performance with thoughtful, scalable solutions
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong technical leadership and excellent communication skills
