Job Description
SPHEREA US is seeking a skilled and motivated Test Strategy & Process Optimization Engineer to support our customer, L3Harris, in Grand Rapids, USA. This is a unique opportunity for internal personnel within SPHEREA Group to contribute to a critical mission while driving strategic improvements in test methodologies for our customer L3Harris.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support L3Harris in defining its test strategy for both flight recorder and surveillance product lines (TCAS, transponder, etc.).
- Optimize the test process by balancing test time and test coverage at both the test bench level and across the overall process to ensure efficiency and comprehensive validation.
- Enhance test efficiency by identifying the optimal testing stages, from board testing (entry conformity check) through integration, burn-in testing, and final ATP, ensuring defects are detected as early as possible while avoiding redundant testing for specific aspects of the system, ensuring both reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a key representative of SPHEREA, fostering strong relationships with the customer and identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in test processes for complex electronic systems, ideally within the avionics sector.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills to engage effectively with the customer and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and optimize test strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Previous experience in defining and optimizing test strategies is a plus.
