We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. - Develop and plan manufacturing processes for complex machined, mechanical, and welded assemblies.
- Interpret and analyze customer purchase order requirements, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Create detailed machining and assembly processes, operation sheets, and tooling plans to meet production goals.
- Evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to understand part production processes.
- Ensure compliance with customer quality and inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Utilize CAD software to develop and review detailed engineering drawings and models; Autodesk products are a plus.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in manufacturing workflows.
- Maintain documentation and records for process plans, tooling, and inspection requirements.
- Train and support production staff on new manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Programmer, or Estimator.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and welding.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software; familiarity with Autodesk products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of close-tolerance manufacturing processes.
- Ability to recognize and implement customer quality and inspection requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of working with engineering drawings and specifications in a manufacturing environment.
