CNC Operator 3rd Shift

Have experience as a CNC operator? Spherion has partnered with a local manufacturer, housed right here in North Mankato and we are working to fill a CNC machining position.

Sunday-Thursday 11:00PM-7:00AM

$23.50/HR

Perks and benefits:
Full-time, stable hours on overnights
Long-term temp-to-hire positions
Ability to get DOUBLE-TIME pay on Saturdays!

Responsibilities:
Perform change overs and operate work centers as instructed by the Production Team Leader
Setup and operate drill presses, hones and other hand and power tools
Perform tool offset adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain required quality of parts
Interpret blueprint and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
Perform inspections and tests to ensure parts meet the quality dictated by associated technical documents
Read and operate inspection equipment to ensure a quality product at all times
Assigned work area, tools and gauges will be clean, and kept neat, safe and orderly at all times

Skills:
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with measuring tool
Be able to operator a computer to work with Microsoft Word and Excel

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1 years of CNC operating experience
