We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Business Operations Manager to oversee administrative operations in our small but dynamic office in New Iberia, Louisiana. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of our business, with responsibilities spanning bookkeeping, HR administration, onboarding, and vendor / client relationship management.
Responsibilities of the Business Operations Manager :
Handle all office administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily operations.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including accounts payable / receivable and monthly reconciliations.
Process payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Process and manage approximately 10-12 invoices per month.
Oversee vendor and client accounts, ensuring timely communication and resolution of inquiries.
Manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Maintain personnel files and HR records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Administer employee benefits and assist with HR-related inquiries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Requirements :
Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and office administration.
Familiarity with HR policies and onboarding processes.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with high attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, clients, and employees.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a small office environment.
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Able to work in a team environment
Great communication skills both verbal and written
