Key Details:
- Flexible Hours: Average 10-20 hours per week (project-based), perfect for balancing with your academic schedule.
- Pay: $15/hour
- Internship Type: Payrolled through Spherion Mid Ohio's Professional Division.
- Work alongside the Director of Workforce Development to coordinate key initiatives and activities for the Area 10 Workforce Development Board.
- Help create and distribute meeting schedules, agendas, and metrics reports to board members.
- Collect, organize, and present data from partnered agencies for board oversight.
- Keep the lines of communication open with partners on workforce programming and resources.
- Maintain detailed meeting minutes and update contact lists for program and marketing needs.
- Assist with ongoing workforce projects, seminars, and training sessions as needed.
- Help obtain quotes for items needed for events (such as tables, chairs, etc.), picking up, and returning rented items to vendors.
- Purchase food/drinks for meetings and events.
- Assist at job fairs or any other type of Workforce Development Initiative throughout internship.
- Experience: Build an impressive resume by contributing directly to real-world workforce development projects.
- Networking: Connect with influential community and business leaders in the area.
- Flexibility: Tailor your hours to fit around your school commitments while making a meaningful impact.
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid Ohio driver's license.
