Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract)

Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid - 3-4 Days in Office)
Contract Duration: Through 3/31/25
Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour, can flex to $37/hour depending on experience
Work Type: Temp Full-Time

We are a fast-paced medical device company seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and code invoices daily, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and process employee expense reports.
• Assist with obtaining W-9 forms for new vendors and year-end 1099 forms.
• Handle high volume of tasks during quarter-end and year-end.

About You:

• 1-9 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Familiarity with Bill.com, Expensify, and Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.

Additional Information:

• Onsite Requirement: Hybrid schedule, 3-4 days/week in San Jose. Initially 4 days/week for training, then flexible to 3 days/week.
• Interview: 1-hour virtual panel interview.
• Start Date: ASAP. Company is closed 12/24 (half day), 12/25, 12/31 (half day), and 1/1.
