Our Electrical Contractor client in Sunnyvale seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator.
We are a leading Silicon Valley electrical contractor with an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Estimator. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical construction with a strong understanding of the entire bid process.
JOB DESCRIPTION / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Read and interpret plans, scope of work, and bid documents
- Prepare onscreen takeoff offs
- Independently produce high-quality, accurate estimates
- Provide breakouts, clarifications, and additional pricing as needed
- Manage design stage of design / build projects
- Manage the quotation / bidding process, maintain bid logs, job calendar, and project job folder
- Transition projects awarded to the General Manager and / or Project Managers
- Build relationships with our existing customer base
- Expand customer base and projects through networking and by proactively seeking out new bidding opportunities
- Develop and train junior estimators
- Other duties assigned as necessary
