Industrial Account Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary: $45-50/hr
Commission: Monthly commission based on sales performance
Customer Base: $500,000 - $1,000,000 in annual sales

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Account Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you’ll manage an existing customer base while also driving business development efforts to generate new leads and increase sales. You will work closely with Service Technicians to ensure excellent service delivery and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in water treatment, mechanical, or similar industries
  • 5 years of business development experience
  • Must be willing to obtain CWT and ASSE 12080 certifications within the first year of employment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to meet sales goals
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Located in or near Hayward/San Francisco area

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase annual sales by 15% year-over-year
  • Manage a customer base generating $500,000 - $1,000,000 in annual sales
  • Actively pursue sales of products and services to meet assigned sales targets
  • Participate in sales pipeline meetings and track progress toward individual and company-wide quotas
  • Use Salesforce to manage sales activities and customer interactions
  • Track service visits and report on progress regularly
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through frequent communication
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services
  • Support the Industrial Team with technical and account-specific inquiries
  • Establish business goals and strategies to elevate the brand
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers
  • Perform on-site water system testing and analysis at customer locations
  • Gather, analyze, and report on data to improve services
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies
