Leasing Agent – Victoria, TX

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Agent to join our team in Victoria, TX. This role requires an individual with strong leasing and closing skills who can create a welcoming and engaging experience for prospective residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and effectively present available units to prospective tenants.
- Highlight the unique features of the property and create a sense of home, rather than just showing a rental unit.
- Engage with potential tenants, address concerns, and identify reasons they may not sign.
- Provide follow-up communication to prospective renters to increase closing rates.
- Handle leasing paperwork, application processing, and lease renewals in a timely and professional manner.
- Gather and analyze leasing feedback to improve strategies and enhance occupancy rates.
- Promote the property through online listings, outreach efforts, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor properties to adjust leasing strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with leasing policies, fair housing regulations, and company procedures.
- Work independently in the office when required, managing daily leasing operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous leasing experience is required.
- Strong understanding of leasing and closing techniques.
- Ability to professionally communicate with prospective and current residents.
- Experience with Onesite software is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple leasing inquiries and prioritize tasks efficiently.
