As a Cost Accountant Analyst, you will serve as a critical business support partner to the manufacturing plant and financial management team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in managing cost controls, inventory reconciliation, bill of material (BOM) audits, and variance analysis. Your insights will directly impact pricing strategies, financial reporting, and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Perform product and plant cost analysis to support operations.
✔️ Establish and monitor labor, material, and overhead cost standards.
✔️ Analyze actual vs. standard costs, providing detailed variance reports.
✔️ Audit and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy.
✔️ Assist in pricing strategies and cost simulations for new business opportunities.
✔️ Support financial performance analysis, including customer profitability and product cost analysis.
✔️ Aid in the development of budget forecasts, labor rates, and overhead allocations.
✔️ Partner with the finance team on monthly and annual close processes.
✔️ Manage inventory records, cycle counts, and monthly reconciliations.
✔️ Ensure adherence to GAAP principles, corporate policies, and financial reporting standards.
What You Bring:
🔹 Education: BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with a focus on Cost Accounting.
🔹 Experience: 5-7 years in accounting/finance, with a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting.
🔹 Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
