Our law firm, located in Red Bank, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Associate Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team and handle a diverse caseload of commercial disputes.
About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters in a collaborative, high-energy environment. Please note, this is not a traditional 40-hour workweek role. Depending on the demands of active cases, some late nights and weekends may be required.
Responsibilities
- Case Management : Handle all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, including strategy development and client communication.
- Legal Research & Writing : Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
- Discovery : Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and subpoenas, as well as conducting depositions.
- Court Representation : Appear in federal and state courts for hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Client Interaction : Provide sound legal counsel to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and strategy.
- Negotiations : Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations to resolve disputes efficiently when appropriate.
- Compliance : Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and case law affecting commercial litigation in New Jersey.
