Job Summary
We are hiring for 2nd Shift General Laborers in Sunbury, PA. The ideal candidate for the 2nd Shift General Laborer provides hands on handling of materials, forklift operation, dumping raw materials, packaging finished goods, general housekeeping and any other assignments as necessary.
Work involves hands on daily tasks in a carbon environment where the worker is exposed to dirt, cold, heat, rain, snow, etc.
General Laborer Duties
Working in all phases of production and cleanup. Duties include tasks such as the following:
Bagging, stacking, and palletizing bags up to 50 lbs each.
Preparing material for shipment.
Cleanup of all areas of the plant, machines, equipment, and property.
Assist in loading or unloading bulk materials into trucks or railcars and dumping materials into bins.
Operating various pieces of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and other equipment when authorized.
General Laborer Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using forklifts is a plus
