Spherion Johnstown is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.
We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience.
- Work in the historical area of Johnstown, close to coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants!
- Receive a weekly pay through Spherion!
- Pay is $32.00 per hour.
- Monday - Friday schedule, no weekend work is required.
Must Haves:
- Experience in County and State Budgets
- Know how to prepare general ledgers.
- Child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprint clearance are required.
- The applicant will be responsible for the cost of the clearances.
Some of the Duties will include:
- Assist in preparing general ledger reports and trial balances for the County.
- Prepare journal entries and modify budgets.
- Reconcile income and revenue accounts.
- Prepare the county and state budgets
- Post service provider invoices to QuickBooks
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
