Job Overview
Spherion is seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of glass products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Production will perform a wide range of general duties.
- This position requires the handling of glass and various other products related to the glass industry.
- This position will have the opportunity to work in Laminating, Insulation, Tempering, PQ&S and any other departments as needed.
- This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching and will be standing and walking on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes for long periods at a time.
- You may work in extreme temperatures
Tasks:
- Work flexible/rotating/swing shifts including overtime: Midnight (11pm-7am), Daylight (7am-3pm)
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
- Utilize basic math skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals.
- Utilize basic geometry skills: Radii, angles, chords, rises, tangent point and other characteristics.
