Part Time Custodian/Janitor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our facilities team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and possess the skills to maintain a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Duties:

- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and restrooms. Including the day care center and work out room
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
- Conduct residential painting tasks, including preparing surfaces, applying paint, and cleaning up.
- Perform floor care duties, including buffing, polishing, and waxing floors.
- Utilize specialized equipment, such as buffing machines and floor scrubbers, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain facilities maintenance equipment, including identifying and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.

Experience:

- Previous experience in custodial, facilities maintenance, or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning practices is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
