Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all equipment as required.
- Operate machines and clear can jams from machines and upper conveyors.
- Perform visual checks and check weights of the product to ensure that the product complies.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and support equipment
- Perform periodic machinery testing/inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency.
- Complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
- Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth production throughout the plant.
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines and practice proper safety procedures
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
Must-Have:
- Mechanical skills
- Demonstrated involvement in safety and knowledge of safety regulations that apply to work functions.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools, and equipment.
Nice to have:
- Ability to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, etc.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Problem-solving skills through an individual and/or collaborative approach.
- Able to work independently or with a team.
