Duties
- Coordinate transportation management activities to ensure timely delivery of goods via phone and email.
- Load trucks, label shipments and track shipments when necessary.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Log into customer portals and schedule trucks.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and enhance service levels.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics workflows.
Skills
- The ability to drive a pacer truck and reach truck when needed.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Teams).
- Proficient in analyzing logistics data for decision-making purposes.
- Familiarity with materials handling processes within a distribution center environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
