What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafting Design Specialist position at Spherion Utah?

The Engineering Drafing Specialist will help manage the company product drawings, and work with our company engineering group to :

Review, modify, and archive existing approved current Customer and Supplier product drawings.
Work with Quality Control Group to ensure quality standards are met, support (NPI) new product introduction. Modify company documentation upon direction of engineering.
Follow direction of Engineering group and Management for new product launches and Proof of Concept products.
Work in Office (BDO Ogden, UT).

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum 3 years of Engineering design drafting experience.

Proficiency working with CAD and SOLIDWORKS platform.

Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Aerospace or Automotive industries preferred.

Ability to visualize and create new models for product approval.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.
