Shifts :
1st : 5 : 45AM-4 : 15PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on some Fridays
Responsibilities :
Prompt and reliable attendance so we can meet our customer needs.
Ability to perform basic math to determine ability to measure, assemble and problem-solve.
Must be able to demonstrate welding ability. Must be able to pass welding certifications.
Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Using the overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time. Most of the work is done on concrete, ladders and in dump bodies.
Ability to determine and make welding equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, blueprints, measuring devices, and perform basic computer data entry.
Must be a team player working with co-workers, other departments. The focus is on meeting company goals and initiatives.
Ability to learn operations of multiple machines / jigs within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule, team needs or to meet any safety recommendations.
Skills :
The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly.
Preferred qualification of a minimum of 2 years' experience in a fabrication environment including drilling, welding, and various hand tools.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to execute on SOP, quality, and safety practices.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow effectively to accomplish deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Qualifications :
Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as a tape measurer, combination square, and other measuring instruments.
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently.
