We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious 24' Box Truck Driver to join our client's team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Responsibilities :
- Operate a 24' box truck for deliveries and pickups.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and hours worked.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Handle any necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
