Spherion Jacksonville is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team! We are seeking a high-energy, hunter mentality to join our team as a Business Development Manager with experience within the staffing and recruitment industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about building relationships and providing workforce management solutions within the non-clinical healthcare and professional services environment. This position offers a base salary of $60,000 to $70,000, plus commission.

Responsibilities :

  • Build a strong target list with the ability to flip targets into billing accounts
  • Heavy lead generation and consistent follow up until you get to the sale
  • Research and development of key account decision makers
  • Heavy outbound call activity
  • Ability to set and lead sales appointments
  • Persuade and influence decision makers and gatekeepers
  • Create sales strategies and close the sale

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Skills :

  • Prior experience working sales in a staffing environment
  • Education : High School

    Experience : 1-4 years

    Qualifications :

  • Relationship-focused is a must - we are not looking for sales people, but rather, relationship builders
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent driving record
  • Must take initiative, exhibit strong leadership abilities, proven ability with process improvement, and thrive in a fast-paced high energy work environment
