Spherion is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Attorney for a Legal Agency in Fort Myers, FL.
Hybrid Schedule- M, W, F in office.
Responsibilities :
Conduct client interviews, determine eligibility, and identify legal issues within the specified area of law.
Provide legal assistance through advice, referrals, or direct representation.
Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies.
Maintain accurate documentation, statistical records, and case files as required by leadership.
Participate in case acceptance meetings and outreach activities.
Stay current with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and other relevant legal training, as required by the Florida Bar.
Working hours : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Skills :
Fluent in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of state and federal court procedures preferred.
Commitment to the organization's mission and empathy for clients.
Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Education : Doctorate
Experience : 4-7 years
Qualifications :
Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida Bar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge of CMS is a plus.
