The Sit-Down Forklift Operator & Production Worker is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to transport materials, products, and equipment in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner, as well as supporting production tasks within the facility. This role involves handling inventory, organizing materials, assisting with assembly or manufacturing processes, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in production areas.Responsibilities : Forklift roles : Operate sit-down forklift to move raw materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production areas.Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and pallets.Transport materials to production lines or storage locations.Stack and organize products, ensuring proper arrangement in designated storage areas (e.g., shelves, racks, bins).Perform regular forklift inspections and report any issues or safety hazards.Follow safety protocols while operating forklifts, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.Production Support : Assist in various production tasks, including assembly, packing, or machine operation, as required by the production schedule.Load raw materials into production equipment, machines, or assembly lines.Monitor production processes and ensure materials are available and correctly positioned for efficient operation.Perform quality checks on products and materials during the production process.Package finished products for shipment or storage according to company specifications.Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas and equipment.Support the production team by performing tasks like machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting, if trained.Working hours : Various Shifts AvailableSkills : Forklift experience : Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift, including experience with different types of forklifts (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).Ability to perform efficient and safe forklift operations in various warehouse or production environments.Production Experience : Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting, ideally with hands-on roles involving assembly, machine operation, or production line support.Familiarity with production equipment, tools, or machinery and their basic operation and maintenance.Education : High SchoolExperience : 1-4 yearsQualifications : Forklift Operation : Minimum of 6 months experience on forklift.
