What are the responsibilities and job description for the MANUFACTURING TEAM LEAD position at Spherion?
Spherion is searching for an experienced Team Lead to oversee an assembly line manufacturing solar panels. This is a temp to hire position with one of our clients located in the Freeport Center in Clearfield, UT.
The hours are from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM Monday-Friday, with some overtime required. A resume is required for this position with 2 years relevant team lead manufacturing experience.
This position involves overseeing the assembly of solar panel frames, finished product, and ensuring team productivity.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee Solar Frame Production : Supervise daily operations on the floor, ensuring frames are produced to precise specifications for strength, durability, and weather resistance.
- Quality Assurance : Inspect raw materials (e.g., aluminum) and finished frames to meet quality standards, ensuring proper dimensions, structural integrity, and compliance with solar industry requirements.
- Optimize Production Workflow : Streamline process assembly to maximize efficiency while minimizing waste.
- Ensure team members follow safety guidelines
- Supervise and Motivate Team : Lead production staff, machine operators, and assemblers, ensuring they understand tasks and performance expectations.
- Train employees on specific techniques for solar frame manufacturing and quality control standards.
- Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
