What are the responsibilities and job description for the MATERIAL HANDLER position at Spherion?

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handlers to join our team and help clear our backlog of products requiring inspection and preparation for shipment.

Responsibilities :

Inspect products for quality and compliance with standards
Perform necessary touch-ups and rework on items as needed
Clean and wash products to ensure they meet shipping standards
Apply touch-up paint where required
Wipe down products for a polished finish
Tap out holes and perform other minor adjustments
Prepare products for final shipment

Working hours : 6 : 55 AM - 2 : 55 PM

Skills :

Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments

Familiarity with quality control processes

Basic knowledge of painting techniques and touch-up work

Experience with hand tools and minor product adjustments

Understanding of workplace safety practices

Ability to read and interpret work orders or product specifications

Education : High School

Experience : 0-1 years

Qualifications :

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle products

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Forklift operation experience
