Job Description:

The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in the company's operations, overseeing daily office management tasks while supporting HR functions and assisting the Controller.
This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and dynamic professional with a strong background in office management, accounting practices, and human resources compliance.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional work environment.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and support the Controller in various accounting functions.
- Perform HR-related duties, including onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR, benefits, and payroll.
- Utilize strong Excel skills to create and manage spreadsheets, reports, and data analysis for office and financial tasks.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, schedules, and company events as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and workflow.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Office Manager or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with AP/AR processes and financial record-keeping.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of HR compliance and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
