What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Quality Assurance Specialist position at Spherion?
At Spherion Mid Ohio, we are committed to delivering innovative engineering solutions through our strategically located network of manufacturing facilities. As a Packaging Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, such as Skittles and Cookies.
The ideal candidate will have good attendance, great hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but on-the-job training will be provided. You will work in a fast-paced environment, conducting quality checks and repackaging food products.
In this role, you will also be responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices, which includes wearing no jewelry, piercings, nail polish, false nails or false eyelashes. Additionally, you must be willing to move around constantly, lifting and bending throughout your shift (up to 10 hours).
