We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to operate and maintain large press machines used for bending and shaping metal components for industrial-sized heat exchangers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production while meeting company and customer standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal fabrication and large-scale machinery.

Responsibilities :

Set up and operate large press machines to bend and shape metal according to specifications.
Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
Inspect finished metal parts for accuracy, ensuring proper measurements, angles, and tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, and making minor adjustments to the press.
Troubleshoot issues with the press and collaborate with maintenance staff for repairs when necessary.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
Maintain production logs and communicate progress or issues to supervisors.

Working hours : 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Skills :

Experience operating large press machines or other industrial metalworking equipment.

Knowledge of sheet metal bending, forming, and fabrication processes.

Ability to work with tight tolerances and read calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Familiarity with hydraulic press systems and CNC-controlled machinery is a plus.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Education : High School

Experience : 4-7 years

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED.

1-3 years of experience operating press machines or working in metal fabrication.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of press machine operation.

Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
