Altoona Spherion is looking for an experienced Plastic Process Technician for an opportunity in the Hollidaysburg, Pa area!
Responsibilities:
- Operate and troubleshoot injection molding machines, including mold setup with forklifts.
- Monitor and adjust auxiliary equipment (e.g., temperature controllers, pumps, hopper loaders).
- Ensure efficient molding processes and create production reports for traceability.
- Address machinery and process issues, document problems, and manage plastic raw materials inventory.
- Perform additional factory duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years of injection molding experience.
- Knowledge of injection molds and related equipment.
- Forklift certification (training provided, certification within 30 days).
- Experience with quality inspection and operating tools.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently.
- Must have US work authorization.
