Production Worker

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client in Alachua, FL actively looking for Production Workers to be responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve and maintain production requirements in a manufacturing environment. Temporary with the possibility of a permanent position Alachua, FL Schedule: FT, Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30pm Pay rate: $20/hr Please email resumes to Rose Crane – rosecrane@spherion.com RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery - Understand start-up and shut-down of production line - Set up manufacturing equipment - Use machine equipment to complete tasks - Perform routine inspections of manufacturing equipment - Evaluate the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed - Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: - High School Diploma or equivalent such as a GED - 2 year production experience - Basic math and computer skills - Skilled in troubleshooting and setup reduction and able to anticipate potential machine breakdowns - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Prior manufacturing experience highly preferred Are you ready to start your next career?
