Spherion, teaming up with a powerhouse food manufacturer in Delphos, OH, is on the hunt for a Sanitation Superhero! Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:00AM (Saturday/Sunday & overtime as needed) In this role, you'll be instrumental in upholding our strict sanitation standards, ensuring a safe and compliant production environment. You'll operate and maintain critical CIP systems, conduct thorough inspections, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems for effective cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facilities. Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure adherence to sanitation standards and identify potential hazards. Document and report any sanitation issues, maintenance needs, or deviations from standard operating procedures to supervisors. Adhere to all safety protocols and chemical handling procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Participate in training programs related to sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities and chemical usage. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sanitation goals. Ensure all work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized according to established schedules. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sanitation storage area. Working hours: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM Skills: Relevant certifications in sanitation or food safety. Certification in OSHA or safety training. Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe). Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a sanitation role, preferably within a manufacturing or food processing environment. Familiarity with Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and procedures. Understanding of sanitation standards and regulations. Knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
