We have a local client right here in North Mankato looking for a Shipping Clerk. As a Shipping clerk, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring operations run smoothly by managing incoming shipments and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Monday-Friday 7 : 00AM-3 : 00PM $17

Responsibilities :
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of goods and materials
Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
Record and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate parties
Label and properly store received items in designated warehouse locations
Maintain organized and clean receiving area
Communicate effectively with warehouse and procurement teams regarding incoming shipments and inventory levels
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
Will be responsible for operating a forklift or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Skills :
Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment
Qualifications :
Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, must have 6 months of experience in operating
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed
