- Ensure carrier coverage for all shipments from assigned sites.
- Monitor incoming orders and schedule delivery with customers via phone and email.
- Communicate with shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to execute transportation plans.
- Manage and coordinate transportation action plans and performance metrics.
- Identify potential exceptions to on-time shipments.
- Create an action plan to resolve complex exceptions.
- Proactively communicate resolution plans to impacted parties when shipping is disrupted.
- Utilize transportation management to provide optimal load solutions based on total cost-to-serve.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong administrative skills and accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to learn and navigate within several computer systems/platforms.
