We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Equipment Operator's to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently load, unload, and move goods throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, and will be committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities :
A warehouse equipment operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of machinery and equipment in a warehouse setting to facilitate the movement, storage, and retrieval of goods. Some of the typical equipment they operate includes :
Forklifts ??? Used to move heavy pallets and items around the warehouse.
Pallet Jacks ??? Manual or electric tools used to lift and move pallets short distances.
Reach Trucks ??? Specialized forklifts used to reach higher shelves and racking systems.
Order Pickers ??? Equipment used to pick individual items from shelves, usually in high-storage areas.
Cherry Pickers ??? Mobile platforms for accessing goods at heights.
Working hours : 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM
Skills :
Experience with one or more of the following :
Reach Trucks - Specialized forklifts used to reach higher shelves and racking systems.
Order Pickers - Equipment used to pick individual items from shelves, usually in high-storage areas.
Cherry Pickers - Mobile platforms for accessing goods at heights.
Education : No Degree Required
Experience : 1-4 years
Qualifications :
Loading and unloading goods from trucks.
Storing products in designated warehouse locations.
Ensuring that inventory is properly organized and accessible.
Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
Adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Being a warehouse equipment operator requires training in the safe use of equipment It may also involve physical labor, as operators may be required to lift or move items manually when needed.
