Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided research, gather data, and analyze technical information to support project development.
- Compile tabular and graphical data for analysis and reporting.
- Create technical drawings, schematics, or models using industry-standard software.
- Assist in analysis, troubleshooting, and quality control processes.
- Accurately document task progress, results, and conclusions with project managers.
- Contribute to field support tasks such as lithologic logging, aquifer testing, water-level monitoring, and water quality sampling. (Technical and safety training will be provided.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and present findings as needed.
- Ensure tasks comply with company policies, safety standards, and scientific best practices.
Technical Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in environmental sciences, hydrology, geology, or a related field.
- Experience with field science or research (preferred).
- Strong understanding of scientific and engineering principles in hydrology and geology.
- Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Suite, Google Earth (required); GIS software (ArcMap or QGIS) and coding (R, Python) (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to accept constructive feedback.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
