We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Assistant to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is organized, and enjoys working behind the scenes to help events run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate and private events
- Assist in managing event logistics, including vendor communication, timelines, and on-site setup
- Help maintain inventory of event materials and ensure proper transport to venues
- Participate in client meetings and provide administrative support for the Events Manager
- Ensure events are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
- Assist with post-event follow-up and reporting
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, or a related field is preferred
