Transportation Load Planner

As a Transportation Load Planner, you will be responsible for the activities related to Transportation Operation, Outbound and Inbound/ Intercompany Transfer Freights.
- Comply with health and safety rules and follow all safety policies, procedures, rules, and work methods.
- Make appointments on customer portals
- Maintain daily communication with Customer Service on Sales Orders delivery Status
- Continuous daily communication with #PL company on loads creation and Carrier assignment
- Run necessary reports to update transportation tools
- Cover weekend based on weekend “on call” schedule
- Comply with Food Safety procedures and regulation, employee safety SOP’s , GMP and GHK.
- Complete other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Availability of working five days eight-hours shifts from Monday to Friday and overtime hours as needed. Availability of working on Saturdays and Sundays as per the department schedule. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
- Experience of 1 or more years of Transportation, Warehouse or Distribution Center experience recommended.
- Prior experience in logistics, dispatching or freight planning is preferred.
- Computer/keyboarding skills; knowledge of the transportation industry required. Knowledge in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong experience receiving, transferring, and shipping product (LTL’s, Multi Stops)
- Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends.
