Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to upsell products and maintain a positive shopping experience will be crucial to our success.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively upsell products.
• Supervise stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and stocked with merchandise.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing complaints or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong skills in cash handling and basic math for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to supervise stock levels and assist in inventory management tasks.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
