Title: Azure Data Engineer with Uware Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures on the Azure cloud platform.
The ideal candidate will also have working experience with Uware, contributing to scalable data solutions for real-time and batch processing.
This role is critical for driving business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and reliable data solutions using Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, etc.)
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Integrate and work with Uware platform
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to deliver high-quality datasets
Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance practices are followed
Optimize and monitor data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in production and development environments
Document system architecture, data flows, and pipeline logic

Required Skills & Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure cloud technologies
Proficient in Azure services: Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, SQL Database, Blob Storage
Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and scripting languages like Python or PySpark
Experience with Uware systems (please specify version or context if internal)
Strong grasp of ETL/ELT concepts and tools
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD in a data engineering context
Experience with data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools (e.g., Purview)
