What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper / Facilities Maintenance position at Spider Mountain?
This position will primarily be performing groundskeeping duties within the entire resort. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, focusing on maintaining grounds, mowing, general repairs, lawn equipment operation and maintenance and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the resort's property.
Primary and essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Grounds maintenance and cleaning
- Pool maintenance, cleaning and chemical balance
- Trash pick up
- Equipment and tool maintenance and repair
- Tree trimming, irrigation, landscaping
Expectations and requirements for this position:
- Valid, current driver's license or other form of ID
- Valid Social Security number
- Ability to work outdoors in constantly changing weather conditions
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching
- Knowledge and ability to use equipment such as: weed eaters, mowers, clippers, saws, blowers, hand tools
- Must be able to operate and complete projects with little or no supervision
- Must be able to keep tools and equipment clean, organized and functional
- Must be reliable
