Greeter Part-Time

About the Role

Spiegelworld is looking for a Greeter Part Time to join the team at Absinthe at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Greeter will lead The Green Fairy Garden with the strongest focus on hospitality and customer service in a manner that sets our establishment out from the rest. The Greeter is also a creative leader of the team who leverages personality and passion in delivering an unforgettable experience . This position reports to the Venue Operations Manager. This is a part-time position that pays $18/hour.  Must be available for evening shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 

What You’ll Do 

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests entering the Garden and ensures all guests feel welcomed
• Establishes a “connection” with arriving guests with friendly and personable conversation
• Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
• Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
• Encourages the flow of service and pace by passionately introducing the Green Fairy Garden’s offerings (cocktails, coffee, food, speakeasy) to all guests.
• Personally escorts VIP's to their tables.
• Monitors the capacity/seating in Pier 17, communicating to House Management, Ushers, and Food and Beverage Management when to hold the door or allow more guests into this space.
• Ensures all arriving guests receive a warm Green Fairy Garden & Spiegelworld welcome, thanking everyone for coming in, and inviting them to return soon as they depart.
• Promotes cooperative effort, a team spirit, and good morale among employees.
• Prioritizes and handles multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Performs other duties as assigned by your manager. 

 All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.

What You Bring 

• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience.
• Organized, works well under pressure, charismatic, personable, out-spoken, and humorous.
• Adaptive organizational skills and the ability to change plans to meet new circumstances.
• Must have a  true passion for customer service - helping to create an environment where people not only have fun but feel relaxed, welcome, and connected.
• Needs to have a genuine nature with the ability to comfortably engage in natural dialogue with guests and diffuse difficult situations.
• Must have Integrity and the ability to make decisions on your feet.
• Needs the ability to speak clearly and articulately while providing information and answering questions from guests, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled/needed.
• Has a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Holds valid work authorization for the US.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Successful background check clearance prior to hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Work is performed in a high volume professional food service and theater environment.
• Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

• Requires prolonged standing and mobility.
• Requires bending and reaching.
• Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires eye/hand coordination.

Hiring Journey
