Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum Events:Organize and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
- Coach the Team:Provide guidance and coaching to team members, helping them adopt and improve Agile practices and Scrum principles.
- Remove Impediments:Identify and help remove obstacles or impediments that the team faces, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Support Product Owner:Assist the Product Owner with backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure the team’s work aligns with business goals.
- Ensure Continuous Improvement:Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving reflection and process adaptation within the team, ensuring they learn from each Sprint and evolve.
- Monitor Team Progress:Track and report on the team's progress toward sprint goals, velocity, and other relevant metrics, and provide feedback to the team for improvement.
- Foster Team Collaboration:Build a collaborative, open, and inclusive team culture, encouraging communication, trust, and collaboration between team members and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication:Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, goals, and expectations. Provide regular updates on team progress, challenges, and improvements.
- Maintain Scrum Artifacts:Ensure that Scrum artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Burndown charts) are up to date and visible to the team and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)or other relevant Agile certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (especially Scrum).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and executives.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to remove blockers and encourage creative solutions.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with a passion for fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with using Jira as the Agile project management tool.
